10-0010 An officer responded to a miscellaneous complaint at 612 Oak St.
Dispatch received a call from a woman about a male suspect who was attempting to enter Danforth Chapel.
When the woman approached the suspect and asked if he needed any assistance, he took off running.
Police stopped him at 700 Douglas St. where he advised police that he was walking through Hooper/Race Hall.
When he realized there was a wedding going on, he attempted to escape at the nearest door. He said he panicked when the woman approached.
Police verified he was a student in good standing. No further action was taken at this time.

10-0139 An officer responded to harassing phone calls/all others at 400 Palmetto St.
Police spoke with a victim who advised that a person who claimed his name was John had been texting her for the past week.
Some texts read, "what r u doing today," "what do your toes look like," and "do you have pretty feet."
Police received the phone number and attempted to contact the John suspect.
The person said his name was not John and his phone was stolen about a week ago.
He also advised police that he just called the phone company to have his phone cut off yesterday.
The victim was told of this and she said she did not wish to prosecute.

10-0149 An officer responded to a miscellaneous call at 805 Douglas St.
Police responded to an alcohol violation with a security officer and two resident assistants. At the conclusion of the incident, one of the resident assistants told police they originally responded to the room for a noise complaint, not an alcohol violation.
When the resident assistants knocked on the apartment door the security officer opened the door. It was not until after the resident assistants had knocked that the security officer called in the alcohol violation.
