The Riverbend music festival will return to Chattanooga's waterfront June 11 through 19.

Some of the artists playing the festival include, Sheryl Crow, Allison Krauss, Billy Currington and Darius Rucker , according to the festival's Web site.

Jennifer Jones, a senior from Ringgold Ga., said she is excited for the upcoming festival.

"I normally try to attend the entire event as much as possible," Jones said. "I am just so excited by the live music atmosphere."

Jones said she is very excited about seeing Sheryl Crow, George Clinton, and Billy Currington.

Megan Ellis, a Chattanooga senior, said she will attend a few nights.

"I really enjoy getting to see my friends who come in town for it and seeing any artist I really like," Ellis said. "I like music, but I'm not obsessively into Riverbend. It's more of a social thing for me."

Brooke Williams, a junior from Chattanooga, said she also plans to attend a few nights of the festival.

"I will go to see Darius Rucker and Sheryl Crow," Williams said. "I like the food at the festival, but the parking is always terrible and the space of the event is too small for all the people who attend."

According to the festival's Web site, www.riverbendfestival.com, internship opportunities are available for college juniors and seniors. Interns are needed year-round and have flexible hours. Resumes can be sent to andy@riverbendfestival.com.

The festival's Web site also listed that general admission pins will be available beginning May 1 until midnight June 10 at area Kangaroo convenience stores for $30, and gates will open at 4:30 p.m. every night of the event.
