"Law Abiding Citizen" is a must-see because the unpredictable plot makes the audience want to stick around to know how the movie will turn out.

When a father seeks justice for the murders of his wife and daughter, the audience is initially persuaded to sympathize with him though they will draw away from him later. The unique plot allows it to stand out. It will be talked about long after it is out of theaters.

"Law Abiding Citizen" premiered Oct. 16, and lasts approximately one hour and 48 minutes. The movie's perspective allows its audience to become engaged in the suspense.

Clyde Shelton, played by Gerard Butler, portrays the typical "father and husband role," until events throw him into a compromising position.

He represents the unheard voice of victims who plea for the law to enforce justice by punishing someone else's wrongdoing.

The government is represented by another major character, Nick Rice, played by Jamie Foxx.

Justice in the film does not always seem just when it is solely dependent on the laws of the legal system.

Even though people have to abide by laws, it does not necessarily mean they are always right.

Shelton makes this point clear by depicting how the legal system occasionally ignores fairness, especially for the people who are hurt by the initial cause of wrongdoing in the film "Law Abiding Citizen."
