Rembrandt's, a quaint little coffee shop nestled in the Bluff View Art District, serves up an assortment of sweet treats, breads, salads sandwiches and, of course, coffee.
With a marvelous view of the Tennessee river right outside, accompanied with garden terrace seating, this establishment can create quite the romantic atmosphere or simply a scenic place to have lunch, breakfast or an after-dinner dessert with friends.
The chocolates Rembrandt's creates cater to even the most fickle of palates.
According to Rembrandt's Web site, their chocolatier, Jerome Savin, studied chocolate making in Livron, France.
His chocolates are crafted with traditional French techniques, making evident his precision and attention to detail, even from behind the sparkling glow of the glass candy case.
Not only will the extensive array of French-syle chocolates, pastries and danishes excite the senses but the smell of freshly brewed coffee is sure to liven your step before the first sip is taken.
If you are looking for food with a little more substance, an assortment of soups, wraps and grilled sandwiches are available.
Coffee beans can be purchased by the bag and freshly baked bread by the loaf.
