Helicopters neither appreciated nor wanted by one student

Ah, so the military lands a helicopter on campus in the middle of class?
That's all well and pompous, but I imagine that even the college republicans would have taken a minivan if they wanted to take a trip to the distant hills of northern Georgia.
I would like to call attention to what may perhaps be read as a sign of the ever-increasing militarization of our culture.
It's getting about as loud as helicopter blades out there.
I'm not intimidated, and neither are my beautiful friends, because long before college we learned that life is fun.
