Krystal commercial features students

Stefanie Wittler, a junior from Soddy Daisy, Tenn., submitted her Krystal story online. In a few weeks, Krystal representatives called her back, and she had an on-camera audition at UTC consisting of a screen test and photo shoot.
"Krystal has always been my favorite food," Wittler said. "My mom craved it when she was pregnant with me."
After her audition, Wittler was chosen to star in her own commercial.
Her commercial was filmed at the Sports Barn and Krystal restaurant in East Brainerd.
According to Wittler, the synopsis is she goes to Krystal after working out to prepare for a pageant (Wittler is this year's Miss Southeast Tennesseee and has previously competed in the Miss Tennessee pageant).
She arrives at the restaurant in a limousine, wearing an evening gown. She steps out of the car onto a red carpet with fans screaming her name.
The shoot lasted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Wittler said, "Krystal was nice and cooperative throughout the day."
"I felt like a celebrity," she said.
"I had my own hair and makeup artist. I thought, 'I could do this every day.'"
Haley Pukanas, a Chattanooga junior, was also part of the commercial.
"The producers told [Wittler] that she needed to ask some friends, so she called a few friends to come," Pukanas said.
"We got there and they were setting up for the scene we were helping with."
For her scene, Pukanas said, "Stefanie was getting out of a limo in her evening dress and walking on a red carpet into Krystal.
We were her fans and we were waving signs and screaming for her.
"They did our part about ten times, and it only took about 20 minutes," Pukanas continued. "We got to watch a few other scenes also," she said.
Wittler's commercial will air early next year.
