071304 - Police responded to a miscellaneous call at 701 Vine St. A female student advised that she was talking to her friend by her car. The female student told the police that a white vehicle pulled up next to them. The student advised that her friend told her the person in the car had flashed them. However, the female student never saw the person flash them. The car left the scene after the incident. The student did not recall the tag number or make of the car. Police told the female student to call back if she ever saw the individual again

Aug. 31, 2007
071322 - A female student was walking at 400 Palmetto St. when she felt something pulling her purse. She then observed the unknown suspect continuously pulling at her purse. The victim stated when another female student came out of a side door of a building the suspect immediately fled on foot. The suspect is a white male around six feet tall, wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts. The suspect had brown hair and a beard.

071324 - Police were dispatched to Lockmiller Apartments to see a female student. When police arrived, the female student was upset because of some threats that were made to a male student. The female student advised the police that the male suspect became upset when the she removed him from the no. 1 spot on her myspace.com top friends list. At the time she stated she put the male student in the no. 1 spot. She then advised that the male suspect became upset and threaten to come from Brooklyn, N.Y. to Chattanooga to kill the male student. Neither her or the male student said they had any fear.

Sept. 1. 2007
071326 - Police were flagged down at 744 McCallie Ave. by a man who said he attempted to kill himself by the overdose of cocaine and pills. The man said he needed an ambulance because he felt as though his heart was about to explode. A Hamilton County emergency medic arrived shortly and transported him to the hospital.

071328 - An officer responded to an assault call. When police arrived on the scene, Chattanooga mayor Ron Littlefield said he saw a man slam a woman's head into a brick wall. The victim told police that she was walking down the street when she encountered her boyfriend. The victim said her boyfriend had been drinking and was upset with her. She was taken to the hospital. Police will be taking out warrants on the male suspect.
