Over the next two years, UTC will receive approximately $24 million in federal stimulus money, Vice Chancellor Richard Brown said.
Of that $24 million, approximately $9 million will be received this year, and around $4 million has already been spent.

Officials at the Lupton Library recently unveiled plans for the new library which is set to begin construction in January 2010.
The current library was built in the 1970s for a campus population of 4,500. Recent estimates for fall 2009 put the campus population at over 10,000.…
UTC Student Health Services moved to the corner of East Third Street and Central Avenue in the Family Practice building.

The lawsuit Dr. Bill Harman brought against the university in January was dismissed this summer with a judge's ruling that Harman did not meet the requirements for being a whistleblower.
